Honoring and appreciating Pierre and Pam Omidyar
« on: September 03, 2007, 10:33:51 PM »
:) Pierre and Pam Omidyar and staff, Thank you, Thank you again, Thank you again and again!

We wish to honor, appreciate and thank Pierre and Pam Omidyar and the Omidyar leadership team for providing the opportunity for us to co-create the Daily Appreciations project  at Omidyar.net.

The Daily Appreciations project was incubated at Omidyar.net with the help of their wonderful staff including Thomas Kriese and Haney Armstrong and the generous support and participation of 64 members in the Omidyar community!

We cannot thank you enough for all the lives you have touched through this project. As of Sept. 4, 2007, there were  21,898 views by 150 members. More than 2,494 appreciations have been posted on more than 100 pages at Omidyar.net  We have made so many new friends through this project. Some of our members from Omidyar.net will continue to contribute in this new Daily Appreciations.org project which is an outgrowth of the Omidyar community initiative.

We have learned and have been strengthened through this enjoyable and empowering process. We admire and believe in your approach to create opportunity for individuals to improve the quality of their lives. We thank you and all the employees of the Omidyar Network for all the good and the joy that they have helped to make possible through their important day to day work.

With profound gratitude and thanks again,

The Daily Appreciations Team

I am truly amazed at the wonderful willingness of Pam and Pierre Omidyar to try to help more and more people discover their own power to make good things happen.

And I acknowledge how crazy it seems that this appears to continue to be a formidable task.
